new sketch book
i got a cool new sketch book at “stationers” in hillcrest
the dimensions are 5.5″ X 8.25″. it’s made of butcher paper and string, with a corrugated paper cover. pretty cool.
i did a few sketches in it last night at art night. here they are:
arrow deco club chair
ok, i’ve been lazy to upload lately. Ā however, as promised, here are the chair photos from the “subjects and thrones” chair show. i’ve included photos from the process of making the chair. since i was so crunched for time i didn’t get to document every step of the construction. i built the chair in 2 weeks. which meant a lot of sleepless nights and forgetting to bring the camera to the studio. and even when i did bring the camera i would still forget to document certain steps because i was blazing through the construction trying to get it done in time. anyway, click the photo below to go to my flickr page and see the rest. i’ve put descriptions for each photo so you can see the process of building the chair.
